Senior Model Rep Feature: Dain & Jace at Hollywood Cemetery

This session was a little extra special for me because I got to photograph my own boys, Dain and Jace, for their senior model rep shoot! ❤️ We headed to Hollywood Cemetery and the surrounding areas in Richmond, VA on a day when the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. The light was golden, the air was calm, and my two favorite guys brought their usual mix of humor, charm, and brotherly energy to the shoot.

As any mom of teenage boys knows, getting them in front of the camera isn’t always the easiest task but Dain and Jace completely appeased me and made the whole experience such a blast. They brought so much fun and lightness to the day, joking with each other and keeping me laughing the entire time. I may or may not have promised pizza in Carytown afterward as extra motivation! 🍕

It was a bit surreal being on the other side of the lens, capturing this milestone for my own kids. Watching them grow into such confident, kind young men fills me with pride and seeing their personalities shine through each shot was a total joy.

Dain is planning to attend trade school next year, while Jace hopes to pursue a career in the medical field. Both of them have such drive and heart, and I can’t wait to see where their paths lead. We moved through the shoot quickly (because teenage boys and long photo sessions don’t exactly mix 😅), but the results are some of my favorite photos ever.

This session was more than just another shoot, it was a beautiful reminder of how fast time moves and how lucky I am to capture these moments, both for other families and my own. 💛 Dain and Jace, thank you for humoring me, for your laughter, and for letting me freeze this special time in your lives.
